Crispy Movies

Just got back from WestMall, where I saw Kungfu Panda. Funny show, by the way. As with most of these animated titles, the storyline’s alright, but the effects and animation was brilliant.

Especially when I realized that the cinema was fully digital. A digital one with a 2K screen (in cinematography, that means there are 2000 lines across the screen; an HD TV only has 1080 lines max).

Words cannot describe the awesomeness of the clarity, the crispyness of the focus, and the tranquility of the bokeh (stuff that’s out of focus, aka the background). I must be in Pixel Nirvana.

$7 well spent. Can’t wait for Ice Age 3 next year.
